I have passed the 3-part Chartered Institute of Linguists Diploma in Translation.

I have an MA in Classics from Corpus Christi College Cambridge, the core elements of which were literature, history, and translation.

To support my translation business, and to ensure that my language skills are constantly improving, I immerse myself in reading, studying, speaking and listening to Russian. I have a network of friends and associates in Russia who support me in this, and in my business. I spend about two months each year in Russia.
