‘Disbelief’ is a bilingual (Russian and English) book of Russian-language poetry written largely after Russia’s latest invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022. All of it expresses shock and ‘Disbelief’ at Russia’s treatment of its sovereign and independent neighbour.
The translations are the work of a small collective of five translators, of whom I am one.
